A few important things to remember about this service:
This service is free. There are no surcharges for purchasing your entry online.
Table assignments (or seed numbers) will be emailed and/or texted to you a few hours before game time. The text/email will contain a link that you must follow to receive your assignment. This also checks you in. Table assignments will also be displayed via a projector at the game site. If you have not checked in (by clicking the link in the email/text you receive), a TD at the selling desk for the event will be able to check you in.
Your online entry covers all days that you play in the event; if you qualify to play past the first day of an event, your credit card will be charged once at the end of the event for all days you played.
Table assignments for day two (and beyond) are on paper entries. Get your entry/assignment from the TDs at the selling desk. BW entries look different, so the TDs know not to collect money from you, but it’s worth a reminder: don’t pay cash for your entry on day two.
Remember that an entry is not complete until it is paid for. If you have not paid by the time online entries close, you are not registered for the event.
Entries for the Vanderbilt close the night before the event and must contain the names of all players on the team.
The ACBL has implemented a surcharge for NABC+ events using screens. This surcharge is $40/day for pair events and $80/day for team events. The Tournament Directors can choose to use screens in an event at their discretion. The events at which screen use is anticipated in New Orleans are the finals of the Platinum Pairs, the Jacoby Open Swiss, and the Machlin Women’s Swiss and the late rounds of the Vanderbilt. Any screen surcharges that apply will be added to the fee charged for entries purchased online.
