A.J. Stephani and Ryan Schultz, representing District 11, hovered near the top throughout the first three sets of the Golder North American Pairs Flight B then sealed the deal in the second final session with a 58.33% game. They finished 28.51 matchpoints ahead of second (23 top).

Stephani teaches forensic psychology at the University of Cincinnati. Schultz lives in Dayton and works for the U.S. Air Force as a civilian engineer.

The two are occasional partners who had their act together throughout the event. They finished the first qualifying session in second place and were never far out of the top spot.

Second place went to another District 11 pair, Mike Ma, Cincinnati, and Stephen Moese, West Chester OH.
