Ten teams are entered in the Senior U.S. Bridge Championship, which starts play today. The two squad that come out on top will earn a chance to compete for the d’Orsi Seniors Trophy – awarded to the senior world team champion – later this year in Chennai, India. The Senior USBC is being hosted by the U.S. Bridge Federation in Schaumburg (Chicago) IL, June 5–13.

The contest opens with a 1.5-day round robin to reduce 10 teams to 8. All of the subsequent head-to-head knockout matches will consist of 90 boards to be played over 1.5 days.

The knockout stages of the 2015 Senior USBC will be covered on BBO Vugraph starting Saturday, June 6 when the round robin is completed. To see the vugraph schedule, click here.
